Banjo's

A new business for New Norfolk.

Anna Lang is a great example of the Banjo's staff development philosophy. Starting as a junior at Banjo's Glenorchy, she worked her way up through the sales area, and is now part of the Banjo's management team as Sales Operations Manager.

She's also co-owner of the New Norfolk Banjo's franchise, in partnership with Angela Jenni, who calls on her extensive retail experience to manage the day-to-day operations.

Anna made the decision to become a franchisee after overseeing the success of other Banjo's stores. "I have worked developing, maintaining and monitoring Banjo's systems. I know that our systems have been proven. After opening many stores for others, I realised it was time to open one for myself and my partner."

Both women are strong believers in the contribution Banjo's makes to the entire community. In a town where the issue of employment is an ongoing challenge, particularly among young people, Anna and Angela are committed to staffing the store with locals. That way, Banjo's system of staff development benefits the whole of New Norfolk.
