Queensland takes to Banjo's

Having been involved in a chainsaw business, Tim Cowley decided it was time for a major change of lifestyle. The sunshine of Queensland beckoned, and Tim saw an opportunity to introduce the State to the Banjo's experience. He sold his business, spent six months training as a franchisee and moved the family north. Before long, Banjo's Cleveland was a going concern, with partners Neil and Jenny Glover (both qualified chefs) running the day-to-day operations and Tim overseeing the business.

"It's really exciting to have opened the first Banjo's store in Queensland", says Tim. "There is a calculated risk going into a new marketplace, but I have the advantage that many businesses don't have - Banjo's has systems and procedures that are a proven combination for success."

Tim acknowledges that it was hard work initially, but he has no regrets. "It's been a great decision - we've never looked back".
